My research interest are in the evolution of repetitive DNA sequences at genome, population, species and genus level in arthropods, with special emphasis on the effects of reproductive strategies on their genetic variability. Furthermore, I also study molecular systematic and phylogenetics of arthropods through mitochondrial and nuclear markers.
