ArthropodBase:Updates

Added the FlagPage extension which creates a new Flag tab on each page. This allows users to quickly add templates to a page. We use templates to display information notices and assign pages to categories as a method or identifying pages in need of curatorial work (e.g. Nominations were certain data items are missing).

The AGC/i5k site has been updgraded to use MediaWiki 1.17 and SMW bundle 1.6 - this was not a totally smooth process but appears to have been successful.

The main driver of these changes was to gain access to the greater variety of output types from Semantic Results Formats - allowing export of query sets as CSV and JSON/RDF. This should address the needs of the pre-sequencing informatics working group in terms of architecture (there is the need to create the right data structure for nominations and then to populate that data)

Current known issues with the site include:

• Semantic TreeView is broken. The phylogenetic trees are therefore offline.
• ConfirmAccounts has an issue with MW 1.17 code and a small number of registrations may have only been partially processed.
• Some aspects of the Semantic forms and changes to the Property type handling may cause data glitches for some areas of the site. We will continue to track these down and correct them
