i5K Comments for Chamaemyia sp.
Generalist aphid predator, rearing available. The larvae of these small flies are active and predatory and are often used for biological control of aphids, scale insects and similar pests. This species is originally Palearctic and introduced to North America as a control agent against Schizaphis graminum where it has established in wheat-growing regions. IAGC
