Help:Supporting a species in the BGI sequencing proposal call

You will need to be logged into the wiki to edit the Species section. Here is a quick guide on how to cast your vote. Remember that you can support the efforts for as many species as you like. If you know of other people who would be interested in the genome sequencing of the species but are not signed up then please consider contacting them to encourage their participation.

Locate the section for the species you wish to support

Find the species section you are interested in by looking through the Table of Contents or use the Find functionality in your browser. Click on the [edit] link at the right hand side of the Section heading. This will open the section editor.

Edit the section

Add your signature by typing ~~~~ immediately under the last line for that species (whether this is an information box or another person's signature).

Click on the Save page button and you are done. It should look something like the following picture.

Thank you for your expression of interest. If their are other species you are interested then vote for another one, or add a new species.
