I am an insect community ecologist at the NERC Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (UK). I work with the Speckled Wood butterfly, Pararge aegeria and I am interested in determining how environmental heterogeneity (particularly in fragmented agricultural landscapes) affects butterfly oogenesis, dispersal and population dynamics.
