The Laboratory for Evolution and Development at the University of Otago works in early development and developmental plasticity in Honeybees, Aphids and Drosophila. We were involved in annotating both the Apis mellifera and Acrythosiphon genomes We are currently helping annotate developmental genets in both Bombus and Strigamia genomes.
