Our research seeks to understand the mechanisms underlying molecular evolution: from DNA and gene family levels to the origin and nature of genetic innovations. We also use molecular data to study the evolutionary history of organisms. The research is conducted using Comparative/Population Genomics and Bioinformatics methods, combining analytical, theoretical and experimental approaches. We focus the investigation on the chemosensory system of invertebrates.
